Angela (“Angie”) was born and raised in Wichita. She currently lives in Florida with her spouse and two dogs. Potential clients and current clients know that Angie is readily available even though she works remotely from her home in Tampa. Her clientele has always been in Wichita, so she makes it a priority to travel back and forth to see them regularly. Angie earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Kansas and attended law school there as well. She specializes in family-based immigration and is skilled in navigating the complex process of gaining residency and citizenship here in the United States. Angie regularly communicates with U.S. consulates and embassies abroad, the National Visa Center, and USCIS so that her clients’ cases are processed as smoothly as possible. Angie has many interests outside of practicing law. Angie loves KU basketball, traveling, and spending time with her family. Angie is most known by her clients and the community for being honest and trustworthy.

Sarah L. Balderas

Sarah was born and raised in Wichita. She attended Bishop Carroll High School. Sarah received her bachelor’s degree from Newman University and her Juris Doctorate from the Washburn University School of Law. While studying at Washburn Law, Sarah had the opportunity to work for Kansas Legal Services in Wichita, the Department of Homeland Security in Kansas City, the Washburn Law Clinic in Topeka, and with the Honorable Judge Birzer at the United States District Court for the District of Kansas in Wichita. Sarah has been practicing law since September of 2018. She specializes in removal defense and humanitarian-based immigration. She is most known by clients and the community as understanding and willing to fight for her client’s best interests. In her free time, Sarah enjoys playing golf with her family.

About Us.
The attorneys, Angela and Sarah Balderas, are cousins. They opened Balderas Legal Group, LLC with Of Counsel Attorney, Shae Steven-Franklin, in October of 2020.
